1838 City of York, the New Guide - CD

This Book, entitled 'The New Guide for Strangers and Residents in The City of York' includes a 'concise historical descriptions of all the public buildings, antiquities, &c of that ancient City' and is illustrated with a lithographic view of the River Ouse, a street plan of the City and over sixty wood engravings. The City as it was in 1838, much of which is still recognisable today.
