Settle & Craven

 "The Settle District and North West Yorkshire Dales " was published in 1923 and is a guide book for the area, containing descriptions of walks and some drives in the district along with some history. There are descriptions of caves and potholes too, along with a bit of historical description of the exploration of these. This book contains over 200 pages along with some 35 plates (some drawings but mainly photographs).  "Chronicles and Stories of the Craven Dales" was published in 1881.
