Francis Mitchell, Labourer & Carpenter, of Rilllington in the East Riding of Yorkshire. His work log consists of Two handwritten books, which give an insight into the daily lives of the people of Rillington during the latter years of the 19th Century. Francis Mitchell was born in Rillington c.1845. His carpentry work involved making carts, barrows, tools and household appliances. He also made coffins. Much of his work was repairs.
