 "The Visitation of Yorkshire in the years 1563 and 1564 made by William Flower Esquire. ” was edited by Charles Best Norcliffe MA of Langton and published in 1881 by the Harleian Society. There are between 400 and 500 pedigrees of eminent Yorkshire families contained within these pages. The huge index (39 pages in the book) gives both surnames and Christian names.
